Department of Endocrinology, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh invites applications for the posts of Research Associate and Project Associate-I in the DOS/ISRO funded project titled "Indian traditional fermented food rich in GRAS organisms for bone health development" under Dr Sanjay Kumar Bhadada, Professor & HOD, Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER Chandigarh, in collaboration with Dr K. Rajagopal, Chief Scientist & HOD, Department of Biochemistry, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore.

Preference: Research Associate – candidates having research papers published in reputed international journals and expertise in Bifidobacterial spp handling including growth analysis. Project Associate-I – candidates having M.Sc. in relevant field and/or experience in handling rodents and performing ovariectomies.
Terms & Conditions
- The engagement in the project is purely on a temporary basis, and appointment will initially be offered for a period of 6 months and will be extended on a yearly basis depending upon satisfactory performance and co-terminus with the project.
- Other benefits as applicable to contractual project staff as per funding agency norms.
