Department of Virology, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has invited applications for the recruitment of 01 Data Entry Operator (DEO) on a contractual basis in the Regional Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (RVRDL).

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognised university.
• Typing Speed: At least 8000 key depressions per hour (KDPH).
• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 1 January 2026 (age relaxation as per government norms).

Emoluments

• Salary: ₹20,000 per month (Consolidated).
• No application fee for any category.

Selection Process

1. Written Test (as per the syllabus/norms notified by the department).
2. Typing Test — the top 10 candidates in the written test will be called for the typing test.
3. Final selection based on performance in the written test and typing test.
