Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (Dr. PDKV), Krishinagar, Akola (MS)-444104, invites applications in the prescribed proforma for the following contractual position under the project “RKVY-RAFTAAR” Agri Business Incubator (R-ABI). Advertisement No. R-ABI/75/2026 dated 19.10.2026.
Position
- Designation – Assistant Manager (1 post)
- Emoluments – Rs.0.70 lakh per month (Rs.70,000/- per month)
- Age limit – Maximum 50 years (as stated in the notice, the age is to be reckoned as on 31.07.2024)
- Duration – The appointment is coterminous with the project or up to 31.03.2027, whichever is earlier. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual and may be terminated at any time.
Job qualification
M.Tech/MBA/CA/PGDM/Equivalent Master Degree in Agri-Business/Finance/Commerce/Marketing/Agri. Marketing/Agri Economics/Economics/Technology Commercialization/Entrepreneurship from a recognized institute, having relevant experience of 3–5 years.
Preferably experience in technology commercialization; investment banking; banking; project appraisal, support incubators; assessment and evaluation of projects/startups; and experience in the startup ecosystem.
Terms and conditions
- A consolidated amount as mentioned above will be paid to the selected candidate for the post. If the candidate does not possess the requisite qualification or has less experience than required, the salary offered may be adjusted according to the level of qualification and experience demonstrated, as determined by the hiring authority/committee.
- Candidates who are already employed in a Government organization should produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer.
- For SC/ST/OBC/OPEN candidates the age limit will be maximum 50 years.
- No T.A./D.A. will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Shortlisted candidates called for interview must bring detailed biodata affixed with a recent passport size photograph and self-attested photocopies of certificates in support of age, qualifications, experience, testimonials and other credentials.
- Candidates must also bring all the original experience/testimonials in support of age, qualifications, experience etc.
- Canvassing in any form will be liable to disqualify the candidates. The Selection Committee’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
- Date and venue will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through e-mail only. Candidates will have to report at this institute one hour prior to the scheduled date and time with all documents in original for verification.
- The engagements shall be on a purely temporary ad hoc basis approved by the competent authority of Dr. PDKV, Akola.
- The person so engaged shall have to execute a contract bond of Rs.100/- before joining the assignment and abide by the terms and conditions mentioned in the contract.
- The selected candidate shall be liable for discontinuation by the Principal Investigator of the concern scheme without any notice on account of unsatisfactory work or any other valid ground.
- The candidate shall be required to produce a medical fitness certificate from the Civil Surgeon within a period of 15 days from the date of joining.
- Since the technical manpower do not have status of regular employee, they are not entitled to any regular leave.
- The selected candidate shall have to join within 10 days from the date of issue of the order, failing which the order shall be treated as cancelled.
- On closure of the project or in the event of abolition of the position, the assignment shall stand terminated even before completion of the tenure of the project.
- The candidate shall have to give one month’s notice, failing which one month’s pay shall be deducted.
- The candidate will have no claim for continuation of service or for regular establishment in the service of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola.
