PAU Ludhiana Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 – Department of Entomology
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana invites applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow (1 post) under the scheme "Monitoring of Pesticide Residues at National Level, CSS-61 (PC-6025)" in the Department of Entomology.

Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis (60% marks)
- M.Sc. in Entomology / Chemistry / Agricultural Chemicals with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis (65% marks) with NET and two years research experience (in case of degree in basic sciences) OR Ph.D. in Entomology / Chemistry / Agricultural Chemicals
Note-I: Candidate who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master's level shall be eligible.
Note-II (Desirable): Hands-on working experience on handling of GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS and sufficient working exposure to pesticide residues analysis.

Rs. 200/- in the form of bank draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. Application form available on the PAU website.

Interview Details
Interview will be held in the office of the Head, Department of Entomology, PAU, Ludhiana. No separate intimation for the interview will be sent and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Terms and Conditions
- The amount of the first full month of fellowship will be kept as security with the Head, Department of Entomology, and paid when the fellow leaves after giving one month's notice.
- Fellow resigning the fellowship must give one month notice or deposit one month salary in lieu thereof.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
