What Is the Ordnance Factory Itarsi CPW Merit List 2026?

This section clarifies exactly what stage of the selection process this list represents, since many candidates confuse a "shortlist for testing" with a "final selection list."

The list released on 22 June 2026 is not the final selection merit list. It is the list of 828 provisionally eligible candidates who have cleared the NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate)-based cut-off and have therefore been shortlisted to appear for the Trade Test / Practical Test. The final merit list for actual engagement will be prepared only after this Trade Test is conducted, combined with candidates' NAC marks, followed by document verification.

Ordnance Factory Itarsi Trade Test Schedule 2026 (Roll Number-Wise)

This section gives the exact date-wise breakup of roll numbers so candidates can immediately check which day they are required to report for the test.

The Trade Test / Practical Test will run across six days, from Monday, 6 July, to Saturday, 11 July 2026. Each day covers a specific block of roll numbers, so candidates should match their own roll number against the table below to confirm their reporting date.

Ordnance Factory Itarsi (Munitions India Limited) Reporting Time, Test Timing and Venue Details

This section covers when and where candidates must report, plus how to reach the venue if travelling from outside Itarsi.

Ordnance Factory Itarsi (Munitions India Limited) What If You Haven't Received the Call Letter by Email?

This section addresses a common concern among shortlisted candidates who are unsure whether they can still attend the test without an emailed admit card.

Candidates who do not find a call letter or admit card in their email inbox can still appear for the Trade Test. They simply need to verify that their own name and father's name appear in the official shortlisted candidates' list, and then report on the scheduled date by following the standard reporting instructions.

Important: If a candidate's name appears on the list but they remain absent because they did not receive the email, Ordnance Factory Itarsi will not be held responsible. Every shortlisted candidate is strongly advised to personally check their name in the list rather than waiting for an email confirmation.

Ordnance Factory Itarsi (Munitions India Limited) Documents Required on the Day of the Trade Test

This section lists the mandatory documents candidates must carry, since incomplete documentation can affect participation in the test.

Candidates must carry both identity proof and the original documents submitted earlier with their application. The following checklist applies to every shortlisted candidate:

Aadhaar Card (original, with a clearly visible photograph) If Aadhaar is unavailable, any one of the following in original: Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, or Passport Original copies of all documents whose photocopies were submitted along with the application form A recent passport-size photograph

Ordnance Factory Itarsi (Munitions India Limited) Items Strictly Prohibited at the Test Venue

Ordnance Factory Itarsi (Munitions India Limited) Important Points Candidates Must Know Before the Test

This section highlights critical conditions that affect a candidate's eligibility and participation, and should be read carefully before the test date.

Appearing for the test does not guarantee a job offer. Participation in the Trade Test/Practical Test does not automatically make a candidate eligible for engagement. Final appointment depends on the merit list, available vacancies, fulfilment of all eligibility criteria, character verification, medical examination, and document verification. Call letters were issued based on the NAC cut-off. For each feeder trade, a cut-off percentage based on National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) marks was applied. Only candidates meeting or exceeding this cut-off received the email call letter. No requests for change of date or venue will be entertained. Candidates who fail to report at the specified venue on their allotted date risk having their candidature cancelled without further notice. Check the official websites before travelling. Candidates should verify the latest Trade Test date and time on the MIL website (munitionsindia.in) and the DDPDOO website (ddpdoo.gov.in) before starting their journey, in case of any last-minute change.
