Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Citizen of India
• Age Limit: Not less than 35 years and not more than 40 years (as on 1st August 2026)
• Educational Qualification: Degree in Law or possess higher qualification
• Experience: Advocate having minimum 5 years practice at bar
• Character: Good moral character
• Language: Able to speak / read Odia and have passed M.E. school examination in Odia as language subject

Documents Required

• Certificate of Matriculation examination or equivalent examination along with Mark sheet
• Certificate of Graduation along with Mark Sheet
• Certificate of Law Degree and Higher Education if any
• Certificate of Enrolment
• Certificate of Moral Character from any Gazetted Officer
• Certificate relating to SC/ST (if applicable)
• Experience Certificate from the concerned Bar Association
• Two current Passport size colour photographs

Selection Process

• Competitive examination conducted by the Selection Committee
• Written test and Viva-Voice test

Important Notes

• The candidate shall be required to produce the original certificates at the time of scrutiny/verification
• The candidate who is submitting educational certificates other than issued by the BSE/CHSE or Universities of the state then he is to submit equivalent certificate issued by the Board/Council or Universities of the State
• Self attested copies of all certificates/documents are to be enclosed with the application
