Detailed Eligibility
1. Warden
- Male for Boys' hostel.
- Qualification: B.A / B.Sc. only from any recognized University.
- Has to stay in the hostel 24x7.
- Age: 30-60 years as on the date of advertisement.
- Experience: At least 02 years in hostel management only.
- Remuneration: Rs. 21,175/- per month (including EPF share of employee & Employer).
- Preference shall be given to local candidates preferably from the block area.
2. Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper
- Male.
- Qualification: Must have passed HSC Examination.
- Remuneration: Rs. 7,500/- per month (including EPF share).
- Age: 21 to 32 years as on the date of advertisement.
3. Head Cook
- Male for Boys' hostel.
- No specific educational qualification prescribed; cookery training preferred.
- Must stay in the hostel 24x7.
- Remuneration: Rs. 9,000/- per month (including EPF share).
- Age: 30 to 40 years as on the date of advertisement.
- Well conversant to use LPG; perfectly hygienic in dresses and cooking habits.
- Physical cooking test will be conducted to evaluate deliciousness/hygiene.
4. Assistant Cook
- Male for Boys' hostel.
- No specific qualification prescribed; cookery training preferred.
- Must stay in the hostel 24x7.
- Remuneration: Rs. 6,750/- per month (including EPF share).
- Age: 21 to 32 years as on the date of advertisement.
Selection Process
- Warden: Career-based marks (60%), interview (20%) & experience (20%). Marks weightage: 10th/12th = 10%, Graduation = 30%.
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: Interview only (100 marks).
- Head Cook & Assistant Cook: Practical cooking test (100 marks).
- Sub-committee will decide date, time & venue. Panel list published on District Website and Notice Board of concerned OAVs & O/o DEO, Khordha.
