- Warden: B.A. or B.Sc. from a recognized university with at least 2 years experience in hostel management; retired teachers willing and physically and mentally sound within 62 years as on engagement may also apply
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: HSC examination pass from a recognized board
- Head and Assistant Cook: well conversant with LPG use with hygienic dress and good cooking habits, with preference and weightage to cookery-trained candidates able to cook any dishes on time
- Only male candidates for the boys hostel with 24x7 stay readiness for warden and cooks, and preference to local candidates of the block area, then adjacent blocks of Mayurbhanj district, with nobody from outside the district
