NTH Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Officers under the Central Government holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR with two years' regular service in Level 7 of the pay matrix.
- Essential: Master's Degree in Physics OR Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy + one year's experience in an NDT laboratory (or X-ray diffraction / failure-investigation of engineering materials by non-destructive and metallographic methods). Qualifications relaxable by UPSC for otherwise well-qualified candidates.
- Maximum age for deputation: 56 years as on the closing date. Deputation period ordinarily not exceeding 3 years.
