Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY), Sri Vijaya Puram, under the Ministry of Defence (Indian Navy), has invited online applications for enrolment to the Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Programme for One Year (IT-03 Batch), Training Batch 2026-27, covering 50 vacancies across 13 designated ITI trades (Advertisement No. NSRY(SVP)/IT03/26).
Trades (indicative): Electrician 08, Fitter 05, ICTSM 05, Instrument Mechanic 02, Machinist 02, Mechanic Ref & AC 03, Mechanic (Diesel) 05, PASAA 02, Pipe Fitter 03, Shipwright (Wood) 06, Welder (Gas & Electric) 05, Electronics Mechanic 02, Sheet Metal Worker 02.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation followed by ITI passed in the respective trade under NCVT or SCVT, as per the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years as on one day before commencement of training. No upper age restriction for apprenticeship training.
Stipend: Monthly stipend in accordance with the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
Selection Process: Merit list (ITI + Std X marks) and Interview (50 marks); Medical Examination; Document Verification.
