Eligibility Criteria
NPSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions to apply for all Item Nos. 1 to 12 under NPSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026. Criteria Details Educational Qualification Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution Additional Qualification 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Operation Shorthand Requirement 1 (one) year course in Shorthand with a speed of 80 words per minute Only those candidates who possess the requisite qualification acquired from a recognized university/institution at the time of applying are eligible. The required shorthand speed (w.p.m.) must be mentioned either on the mark sheet or in the completion certificate.
Age Limit
NPSC Stenographer Age Limit Age is reckoned as on 01.01.2026. Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 32 years Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates: Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years Serving Government employees: Age concession equal to the number of years in service, up to a maximum of 5 years
