Pay Scale Criterion for Serving Candidates
Candidates already in regular cadre or on contract in NPCC or other Government, semi-Government, PSU, autonomous body or government institutions must have a minimum of 2 years in the next below pay scale in IDA/CDA or equivalent. Candidates on consolidated remuneration, or in the private sector, must be drawing CTC equivalent to the next below scale for at least two years: Rs.23.91 lakh per annum for General Manager (HR), Rs.11.96 lakh for Manager posts and Rs.8.97 lakh for Dy. Manager posts. Form 16 signed by an authorised officer is required in support. This requirement does not apply to candidates already in the same or a higher scale.

Selection and Appointment
Selection may be by personal interview or any other appropriate method decided by NPCC depending on the response. Shortlisted candidates are issued an offer of appointment and remain on probation for one year. Only Indian nationals are eligible. Qualifications must be from UGC/AICTE-recognised universities or institutions, and the essential qualification (except CA and CMA) must be of at least two years' duration; for Dy. Manager (Law), the law degree must be a three-year course after graduation or a five-year course after Class 12.
