National Mineral Exploration & Development Trust (NMEDT), Ministry of Mines, invited applications from eligible retired Government servants for engagement as Consultant (Accountant) on contract basis (Circular No. 113/1/2025-NMET dated 28.10.2026).

Eligibility
- Applicant should not have attained 63 years of age on the closing date and should be in good health.
- Must have retired from the post of Section Officer (SO) / Assistant Section Officer (ASO) from a Central Government Ministry/Department.
- Minimum 5 years' working experience in Government Accounts; good knowledge of GFR, DFPR, PFMS; well conversant with MS Word, MS Excel, noting/drafting and office procedure.
The consultant will process employee claims, prepare proposals in e-Office, process bills in PFMS and maintain Bill/Expenditure/Grant-in-Aid/Advance registers. Paid leave at 1.5 days per completed month; 15 days' notice for resignation. Engagement does not confer any right to regular appointment; pension and DR continue.
