Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Eminent professionals with proven experience and expertise in the fields of Archaeology, Country and Town Planning, Architecture, Heritage Conservation Architecture or Law.
• Maximum age 67 years as on the last date of submission of application.
• Not eligible for re-appointment.
• Persons who have held any post in ASI/Ministry of Culture, who were not found fit for such a post, or who have any interest in a prohibited/regulated area are not eligible.

Tenure

• 3 years from the date of assuming office or till attaining the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

Salary

• Fixed salary of Rs. 2,25,000/- per month plus other allowances admissible to an officer of the rank of Secretary to Government of India.
• For pensioners, pay reduced by gross pension amount. Not entitled to LTC, leave encashment, medical allowance or government accommodation.
