Applications are invited for the temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF sponsored research project High-Efficiency, Low-Cost Green Hydrogen Production via Corrosion-Resistant and Conductive Coatings on Structural Porous Transport Layers and Bipolar Plates in PEM Water Electrolyzers at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, NIT Warangal. Last date: 14 September 2026 (till 11.59 PM).

Essential Qualification
- B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, AND M.Tech./M.E. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related fields, with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD). GATE score is not mandatory. OR
- B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent in the above disciplines with minimum 70% aggregate marks or 7.5 CGPA (65% or 7.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD). GATE score is not mandatory. OR
- M.Sc. in Materials Science/Nanoscience and Nanotechnology/Energy Materials with M.Tech. in Materials Science/Metallurgy/Nanoscience/Ceramic Engineering/Surface Engineering/Energy Materials with minimum 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD). OR
- M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/Nanoscience/Nanotechnology/Ceramic Engineering/Surface Engineering/Energy Materials with minimum 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
Desirable: Preference to candidates qualified in GATE/UGC/CSIR/INSPIRE/NET and with prior experience in coating fabrication and hydrogen generation systems.
Job Nature
Procurement of equipment, conducting experiments related to the research project, interpreting results, and preparing reports as required for the successful execution of the project.
