National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam invites applications from Indian citizens for a temporary post of Project Associate-I for the DRDO-AR&DB sponsored project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility
- Age limit: 35 years as on closing date of application. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PWD as per Government of India rules.
- Essential qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Material Science & Engineering / Production Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering, or M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering and related branches from a recognised university. Other terms as per DRDO-AR&DB guidelines.
- Desirable: expertise or strong interest in Design/Manufacturing/Production/Tribology/Material Science with hands-on experience in design & simulation, development and testing of composites. Throughout First Class in academic career is preferred.
