- Research Assistant: Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline with 55% marks or equivalent grade and NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. from a recognised university/institution, with 1-year research experience.
- Field Investigator: Postgraduate in Social Science (minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade) from a recognised university/institution with 1-year research experience as field investigator.
- Desirable: Ph.D. degree and prior experience of research projects / primary qualitative & quantitative surveys on tribal language and culture.
- Candidate should be bilingual or multilingual, proficient in any Austro-Asiatic family language and English.
- Willingness to travel across Bengal and Bihar is mandatory (the project is field-based).
