NIT Calicut JRF/Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026 - DBT Project
An online interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate I (PA-I) (on contract basis) for a research project in the Chemical Engineering Department, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 4 September 2026. Last date for application submission: 2 September 2026.

Qualifications
- Essential: M.E./M.Tech (Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology) with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate from a recognized technical Institute or University, as a full-time program, with NET/GATE qualified. OR
- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology from a recognized university with first class CGPA of 7.5 (on a 10-point scale) and a valid NET/GATE score.
- Desirable: Experience in enzyme production and characterisation, and process modelling and simulation.
- Candidates who do not have NET/GATE can also apply.
