NIT Silchar Project Associate-I (Chemistry) 2026 - ANRF Photo-induced pathway control in aqueous metallo-supramolecular polymers for switchable (semi)conductor | Priority by 01 September 2026, open until filled
The Office of the Dean (Research and Consultancy) at the National Institute of Technology Silchar has released an advertisement for a temporary Project Associate-I position to work on an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India sponsored project in the Department of Chemistry. Essential Qualifications
The essential qualification for the Project Associate-I position is an M.Sc degree in Chemistry or a BS-MS degree in Chemistry from a recognised university.
Desirable Experience

Age Limit and Emoluments

The candidate will be eligible for HRA as per the Project/Institute norms.
Tenure and Working Conditions
The initial appointment is for 12 months, extendable until project completion subject to availability of funds and performance review. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on the project, sign an agreement at the time of joining, and abide by the rules and regulations of NIT Silchar and the sponsoring agency. Candidates who are already employed must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of the interview. The appointment is purely temporary and does not confer any right to a permanent position at NIT Silchar.
