NIT Patna Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Project Assistant: Bachelor's degree in science or a three-year diploma in Engineering and Technology. Desirable: B.E./B.Tech in ECE, CSE or EEE, knowledge of GNU-Linux, coding in C/Python/PyTorch/TensorFlow/MATLAB, and signal, speech and image processing.
- Field Worker: Graduate degree in any discipline. Desirable: proficiency in MS-Office and Excel, experience in field data collection, data cleaning, transcription and annotation, and in documentation and project report preparation.
- Posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; selected candidates are expected to join immediately.
- Employed candidates must submit a no-objection certificate from the current employer.
- No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview.

About the project
NIT Patna invites applications for one Project Assistant and one Field Worker in the project “SwarShiksha: Voice Powered Learning in Indian Languages for Visually Impaired Children”, approved by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Advanced Research Grant programme (Sanction Order No. ANRF/ARG/2025/005917/ENS dated 17 June 2026). The engagement is for three years in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bihta Campus.
