Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any of the following:

• MBA in Finance

• MBA in Marketing

• MBA in Human Resources

• MBA with another relevant specialization

Desirable Experience & Skills

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Ability to conduct training and employability skills development programmes

• Experience in liaison with industry and understanding industry requirements

• Ability to conduct aptitude training programmes

• Experience in an analogous/equivalent position involving Training & Placement activities

Key Responsibilities

The Consultant (Training & Placement) will play an important role in strengthening the institute’s placement and professional development activities. Responsibilities are expected to include:

• Coordinating with companies and organisations

• Supporting placement-related activities

• Scheduling placement tests and interactions

• Facilitating training and employability development programmes

• Liaising with industry representatives

• Supporting students through placement and joining formalities

Nature of Appointment

The appointment is purely temporary and will initially be made for one year. It may be extended on a year-to-year basis based on:

• Recommendation of the concerned Head of Department

• Institute requirements

• Satisfactory performance

• Prevailing institutional norms

The appointment will not confer any claim for absorption or regularisation at NIT Delhi.
