“Empowering Communication: Video Captioning of Indian Sign Language”
The research project will continue for three years or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
The selected candidate will initially be appointed for one year. The appointment may be extended based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
Candidates must fulfil either of the following criteria:
M.Tech./M.E./M.S. by Research or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering or a relevant discipline, with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, along with NET or GATE qualification.
OR
B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering or a relevant discipline, with at least 7.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale and a valid GATE score.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Research or project-development experience in image processing
Knowledge of computer vision
Experience in machine learning and deep learning
Strong Python programming skills
INR 37,000 per month plus HRA, as per DST norms.
The candidate should not be more than 32 years of age as of the closing date of application. Age relaxation will be applicable according to Government of India norms.
The selected candidate may be encouraged to register for a Ph.D. programme at NIT Delhi, subject to fulfilment of the institute’s eligibility requirements and regulations.
