Eligibility
- Officers under the Central Government, State Governments, public sector undertakings, semi-government organisations, statutory autonomous bodies or research and development organisations holding an analogous post; or
- An officer in Level 6 with a minimum of five years of service, who also holds M.Com / MBA (Finance) / ICWA / CA.

Other Conditions
- The appointment is governed by DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended.
