Essential Qualifications
- PRS-II (Non-Medical): M.Sc. (First Class) with a Ph.D. degree in relevant Life Science subjects such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related disciplines from a recognized university; minimum one year of post-doctoral research experience in the relevant field. Desirable: molecular biology/lab techniques, publications in indexed journals, scientific writing, biostatistics/bioinformatics tools.
- PTS-III: Three years Graduate degree in Life Sciences + three years post-qualification experience OR Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences. Desirable: handling biological samples, basic molecular biology techniques, maintaining study records/databases and project reports.
