National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development (NILERD), an autonomous body under NITI Aayog, Government of India, has announced recruitment for faculty positions on Contract or Deputation basis initially for three years, extendable up to two more years.

1. Deputy Director — 03 Posts (UR-01, OBC-01, ST-01)
- Pay Scale (Deputation): Pay Level-12, Rs.78,800 - Rs.2,09,200/-
- Pay Scale (Contract): Rs.2,08,700/- per month (consolidated)
- Qualification: Master''s Degree in Economics/Development Studies/Statistics/Engineering/Technology/Business Management/Social Sciences from a recognized University
- Experience: Minimum 08 years'' post qualification experience in research or teaching at supervisory level in Govt./University/Autonomous Bodies/reputed research institution
- Desirable: Doctorate Degree in relevant subject; at least five publications in peer-reviewed journals/edited books; experience of handling consultancy research projects relevant to SDGs
- Age: Not less than 26 years, not exceeding 56 years (for Deputation)

2. Joint Director — 02 Posts (SC-01, OBC-01)
- Pay Scale (Deputation): Pay Level-10, Rs.56,100 - Rs.1,77,500/-
- Pay Scale (Contract): Rs.1,05,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Qualification: Master''s Degree in Economics/Development Studies/Statistics/Engineering/Technology/Business Management/Public Policy/Social Sciences from a recognized University
- Experience: Minimum 03 years'' post qualification experience in research or teaching in Govt./University/Autonomous Bodies/reputed research institution
- Desirable: Doctorate Degree in relevant subject; practical experience of handling consultancy research projects relevant to SDGs; experience in preparing research proposals and generating revenues from research assignments
- Age: Not less than 35 years, not exceeding 56 years (for Deputation)

3. Assistant Director — 08 Posts (UR-03, OBC-03, SC-01, EWS-01, ST-01)
- Pay Scale (Deputation): Pay Level-11, Rs.67,700 - Rs.2,08,700/-
- Pay Scale (Contract): Rs.1,45,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Qualification: Master''s Degree in Economics/Development Studies/Statistics/Engineering/Technology/Business Management/Social Sciences from a recognized University
- Experience: Minimum 05 years'' post qualification experience in research or teaching at supervisory level in Govt./University/Autonomous Bodies/reputed research institution
- Desirable: Doctorate Degree in relevant subject; at least 3 high quality publications; experience of socio-economic research/manpower planning/manpower development in industry
- Age: Not less than 26 years, not exceeding 40 years (for Deputation)

Selection Procedure:
1. Shortlisting of applications based on eligibility criteria, qualifications and experience
