NIFT Registrar, Director & Campus Director Recruitment 2026 - 19 Posts (Deputation)

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) invites applications on deputation for 19 posts: Registrar, Director (Head Office), Director (Finance & Accounts) and 16 Campus Directors. All posts are in Pay Level 13 and are based at NIFT Head Office, New Delhi, or at NIFT campuses. The deputation period is three years and is not extendable. The last date for receipt of applications is 20 November 2026.

Eligibility

• Officers of the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory, autonomous organisation or PSUs.
• Registrar: analogous post on a regular basis with experience in administration/establishment/academic matters.
• Director (Head Office): analogous post with experience in administration/establishment/admissions/academic matters.
• Director (Finance & Accounts): analogous post with experience in financial, accounting and audit matters.
• Campus Director: analogous post with at least two years' experience at the level of Director of Government of India or equivalent, in administration/establishment/admissions/academic matters.
• Maximum age 56 years on the closing date.
• Deputation period is three years; no further extension.
• No reservation is applicable to deputation posts.

Post-wise Qualification

• Registrar: Analogous post with administration/establishment/academic experience.
• Director (Head Office): Analogous post with administration/establishment/admissions/academic experience.
• Director (Finance & Accounts): Analogous post with financial/accounting/audit experience.
• Campus Director: Analogous post; at least 2 years at Director-level or equivalent with administrative/academic experience.

Age Limit

Maximum 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Application Fee

No application fee is payable for these deputation posts.

Selection Process

Applications received through proper channel will be scrutinised against the eligibility conditions. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Applications sent directly or as an advance copy may be provisionally entertained only if the proper-channel application and documents are received before the interview. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.

1. Download the prescribed application proforma (Annexure-I) and other annexures from the NIFT advertisement.
2. Apply through proper channel; separate applications are required for different posts.
3. Attach integrity certificate, penalty statement for the last 10 years, vigilance clearance, cadre clearance, attested APARs for 2020-21 to 2024-25 and matriculation certificate.
4. Attach self-attested copies of educational qualifications, experience and category certificates where applicable.
5. Send the complete application so as to reach NIFT by 20 November 2026. Applications must be forwarded through the parent office.

Important Instructions

• There are 16 Campus Director posts across Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kolkata, Kannur, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raebareli, Shillong and Srinagar.
• Registrar, Director (Head Office) and Director (Finance & Accounts) are based at New Delhi.
• The deputation tenure is three years and will not be extended.
• Officers already on deputation are not eligible to apply.
