The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai, an autonomous institute under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for engagement to three temporary consultant positions on contract basis under Manpower Engagement Notification (Temporary) No. 07/2026 dated 23.10.2026.
- Posts: Lecturer (Clinical Psychology) – 1; Tutor – Clinical Assistant (Occupational Therapy) – 1; Rehabilitation Officer – Therapeutics – 1
- Consolidated monthly remuneration: ₹60,000 for Lecturer (Clinical Psychology) and ₹50,000 each for the other two posts; no other allowances
- Maximum age 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications
- Engagement initially for a period not exceeding 3 years, extendable up to a maximum of 5 years; annual increment @3%
- Paid leave of absence @1.5 days for each completed month of service
