NIELIT Director General Eligibility Criteria 2026
- PhD in the prescribed subjects with 25 years of post-qualification experience (relaxable for 17 years in specified cases), or Master's degree with the prescribed years of experience
- At least 5 years experience in senior management capacity equivalent to Level 13 and above
- For deputation, maximum age 58 years as on the closing date; age relaxation for Government servants as per rules
- Application in the prescribed proforma through proper channel for serving officers, with APAR and vigilance clearance

- Pay Level 15 (Rs.1,82,200 - 2,24,100) with a tenure of up to five years or till attaining 60 years of age, whichever is earlier
- Essential: PhD in the relevant subjects with 17 years post-qualification experience, or Master's degree with 25 years (22 years in specified cases) of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in senior management at Level 13 and above
- Applications in the prescribed proforma along with self-attested certificates should reach the Director (ABC Division), MeitY, Electronics Niketan, 6-CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi - 110003
