NID Madhya Pradesh Faculty / Designer Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Designer / Faculty (Level-10): Essential — Degree/Diploma in Design from a recognized University/reputed Institution; Desirable — Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Design; Experience — minimum 5 years in the relevant field of Design; Age — maximum 45 years.
- Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor) (Level-11): Essential — Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Design from a recognized University/reputed Institution; Desirable — Doctorate in Design; Experience — minimum 7 years in the relevant field of Design; Age — maximum 50 years.
- Specializations include Service Design, System Design, Design Thinking, Ergonomics, Pedagogy, Automobile & Mobility, Ceramic & Glass, CMF/Material Expertise, New Media Design, Film Design, Animation, Drawing Proficiency, Basics of Design and Craft.
- Probation period is two years for direct recruits.

Age Limit
Designer/Faculty: maximum 45 years. Associate Senior Faculty/Designer (Assistant Professor): maximum 50 years, as on the closing date of application (30.10.2026). Relaxation as per Government of India norms (SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years; Ex-Servicemen as per rules).
Application Fee
Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,000/- per post, in the form of a Demand Draft from any scheduled bank drawn in favour of National Institute of Design Madhya Pradesh, payable at Bhopal. SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the fee; such candidates must attach valid certificates.
How to Apply
- Download and fill the prescribed application proforma from the NID MP website www.nidmp.ac.in, paste a passport-size photograph and sign it.
- Attach copies of educational qualifications, experience, salary certificate, vigilance clearance and other documents, as applicable.
- Send the application in a sealed envelope superscribed with the name of the post, by Registered/Speed Post only, so as to reach The Administrative Officer, Establishment Section, National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh, Village-Acharpura, Eint Khedi, Bhopal, Distt. Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – 462038, on or before 30.10.2026.
- Persons in Government/Semi-Government organisations must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and a Vigilance Clearance certificate.
