- Design, implement and maintain enterprise healthcare database systems
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MariaDB and MongoDB
- Engineer scalable, secure, resilient cloud-native and hybrid database environments
- Ensure performance optimization, tuning, indexing, partitioning and capacity planning
- Configure Master-Slave (Primary-Replica) replication topologies for high availability
- Monitor and troubleshoot replication lag, synchronization errors and connectivity issues
- Execute failover procedures and disaster recovery drills
- Implement database security controls including encryption, role-based access and auditing
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of patient healthcare data
- Support healthcare data warehousing and interoperability initiatives
