Eligibility
- Qualification: Full-time postgraduate degree/diploma in Marketing or equivalent qualification from a recognised institute/university. Graduates with 4 years of experience handling a team in the Frozen Segment may apply.
- Experience: 6 years full-time for Deputy Manager / 4 years full-time for Assistant Manager in marketing and sales in the Frozen / Dairy / FMCG / FMCD / Retail sector. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the Frozen / Ice-cream business at Executive level or higher.
- Location: Jorhat / Dibrugarh.
Main Responsibilities
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the ice-cream business.
- Plan and execute the ice-cream category business for Purabi Dairy and frame the annual ice-cream business plan for the assigned geography.
- Set up cold-chain infrastructure and translate the business plan into area-wise, product-category-wise targets across channels.
- Design, implement and monitor launch and promotion plans.
- Manage key accounts, including General Trade, institutions, HORECA, E-com and Q-com channels, to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and execute sales and business-development strategies to grow market share in the ice-cream sector.
- Improve product positioning, plan ice-cream parlours, and carry out competitor research.
- Prepare sales forecasts, analyse sales data and prepare reports.
- Develop the marketing model and strengthen the PURABI brand.
- Conduct market surveys and SWOT analysis, and coordinate with the production team for supplies and product feedback.
- Design schemes to drive business volume and plan capacity building for the sales force.
Skills and Attributes
- In-depth knowledge of market-demand analysis and competition; knowledge of the FMCG / ice-cream / milk / dairy sector and supply-chain management.
- Manpower management, understanding of market and consumer behaviour, leadership and decision-making ability.
- Experience with internet-based applications and MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in teams; good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
- Proficiency (read, write, speak) in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and English (any two) is a must.
- Tech-savvy on social-media platforms.
