CSIR-NCL Pune Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026 – Fluxional Homo-Hetero Hybrid Catalyst
CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune invites online applications for engagement as Project Associate-I (1 post) under the project "Fluxional Homo-Hetero Hybrid Catalyst: Covalent Anchoring of Transition Metal Complexes on MXenes for Selective Electrochemical C-H Amination" (Project Code GAP348726), sponsored by ANRF, as per Notice No. 2026/CSIR-NCL/PMC/GAP348726/854.

Qualifications
Minimum: Master/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine OR equivalent.
Desirable: M.Sc Organic Chemistry with prior experience in organic synthesis, product workup, and exposure to GC, GC-MS, HPLC or NMR for reaction monitoring.
Job Requirement
- Synthesis of MAX phases and etching to MXenes by fluoride and molten salt routes
- Electrode fabrication and electrochemical evaluation in three-electrode and divided cell setups
- Targeted organic electrosynthesis reactions with quantification of conversion, selectivity and faradaic efficiency
Emoluments
(i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for NET/GATE/DBT/DST qualified candidates; (ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others.
