About:

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), through its Department of Curriculum Studies & Development (DCS&D), invites applications for engagement of project staff purely on contractual basis under three PAC-approved programmes for 2026-27. Advertisement No. 1-13/2026-27 dated 3 July 2026.

Salary Details:

- SRA: Rs. 42,000/month (NET/Ph.D.), Rs. 40,000/month (Non-NET)

- Tenure: Up to 31 March 2027 (Programme 7.01 & 7.03); 6 months from joining (Programme 7.04)

Selection Process:

- Walk-in Interview on 15 July 2026 at NCERT, New Delhi
- Registration: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (No candidate entertained after 12:30 PM)
- Carry filled application, self-attested testimonials, and original certificates

Eligibility:

SRA (Programme 7.01):
- Post Graduate in Mathematics / Science / Social Science / Language / Education with min 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH)
- 2 years' experience in relevant field (proof: salary slip / bank statement / ITR)
- Desirable: B.Ed/M.Ed, computer knowledge, MS Office, data analysis software

JPF (All Programmes):
- Post Graduate in Mathematics / Science / Social Science / Language / Education with min 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH)
- Desirable: B.Ed/M.Ed, computer knowledge, fieldwork experience
- For Programme 7.04: experience in English-Hindi translation preferred

Age Limit:
- SRA: Below 45 years
- JPF: Below 40 years
- Age relaxation as per Government of India norms
