National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) — a statutory corporation under the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, established under the NCDC Act, 1962 through cooperative societies for economic development — through its Personnel & Administration Division, invites applications for the post of Young Professional-II (Sugar) on a contract basis. Terms & Conditions

1. The number of advertised posts may be reduced or increased as per requirement. The exact number of posts will be determined by the Corporation at the time of the interview of the shortlisted candidates.
2. The appointment will be purely on a contract basis and no right of appointment shall vest in NCDC or in organisations associated with it. A contractual person shall have no right to any benefit / regularisation / compensation / absorption in the National Cooperative Development Corporation. A contractual person shall not claim any benefit / compensation / absorption / regularisation with NCDC under the provisions of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 or the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970.
3. Professionals will be engaged on contract for an initial period of 3 years, which may be extended for 1 year and up to a maximum of 4 years, for specific projects, on rendering high-quality services as per requirement. However, the continuation of their engagement in the subsequent years, after the first year, shall depend on a satisfactory annual performance review based on clearly defined key performance indicators.
4. The consolidated remuneration shall be inclusive of applicable taxes and no other allowance or perquisite shall be allowed. The remuneration shall be paid on a monthly basis. Annual salary increase is subject to satisfactory performance.
5. Working hours, travelling, daily allowance, leave etc.: The contractual person shall be governed as per the provisions applicable to the contractual appointments of NCDC.
6. If the performance of the contractual person is not satisfactory or he/she fails to attend/absent himself/herself from the assigned work or is otherwise found indisciplined or absent, NCDC may terminate the contract at any time without assigning any reason by giving one month's notice or one month's compensation in lieu thereof.
7. At the time of taking over the assignment, the contractual person will have to produce original documents and certificates in support of his age, qualification and experience, failing which the offer of appointment shall be withdrawn.
8. Educational qualification, age, experience etc. as advertised shall be determined as on the last date for submission of the application.
9. Merely fulfilment of the eligibility criteria shall not entitle a candidate to the interview / personal discussion. NCDC may do preliminary shortlisting on the basis of educational qualification, experience etc. Only the shortlisted candidates shall be called for the interview / personal discussion.
10. NCDC reserves the right to cancel or withdraw this advertisement at any time without assigning any reason.
