National Book Trust Typesetter Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts (English & Hindi)
National Book Trust, India invites online applications for two Typesetter posts (one English and one Hindi) on a purely contractual basis through a manpower agency, initially for three months and extendable as per requirement. The selected candidates will provide in-house typesetting support, prepare page layouts, incorporate corrections and produce print-ready files/PDFs for NBT publications. The last date for online applications is 15 days from publication of the notice dated 14 October 2026.

Eligibility
- Higher Secondary or above from a recognised board.
- Certificate course in graphic software.
- Minimum two years of working experience in InDesign and other graphic software and typesetting/designing.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Typing knowledge in English and/or Hindi, as applicable to the post.
- Candidates must be able to undertake typesetting, page layout, incorporation of corrections and preparation of print-ready files/PDFs.
- Sample works must be submitted as evidence of typesetting/design capability.
Post-wise Qualification
- Typesetter (English): Higher Secondary or above; certificate in graphic software; two years' experience in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; English typing.
- Typesetter (Hindi): Higher Secondary or above; certificate in graphic software; two years' experience in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; Hindi typing.
Age Limit
Below 40 years.

Selection Process
