BRIC-National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) invites applications for one Research Associate-I post under the DBT-funded project “Role of Pax6(+) cortical progenitors in the etiology of Autism Spectrum Disorder”, under Principal Investigator Dr. Dhananjay Huilgol. Essential Qualification
- Ph.D. in Science or Engineering, or an M.D./M.S. degree in any area of medicine.
- Research interest in development and neuroscience, with a good academic record.
- At least one first-author publication arising from the PhD work.
Desirable Experience
Cell culture, primary culture, biochemistry, and molecular biology including CRISPR- or shRNA-mediated gene manipulation. Experience in animal handling, confocal microscopy, and lentivirus- or Adeno-Associated Virus-mediated genetic manipulation will be a valuable addition.
