National Museum Project Intern (Sanskrit Manuscript) Recruitment 2026
The National Museum, Janpath, New Delhi, a Subordinate Office under the administrative control of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications for engagement of one (01) full-time Project Intern (Sanskrit Manuscript) on a contract basis (Circular F. No. 46-3/2026-NM/IH).

Essential Qualification
- Post-Graduation in Sanskrit language from a recognized University/College/Institution.
- One year's experience in documentation, handling of Sanskrit and Sanskrit-related manuscripts and collection management.
Desirable Qualification
- Knowledge of various scripts related to Sanskrit and other oriental Indian languages.
- Efficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Preference would be given to experienced candidates.
Tenure
The tenure of contract shall be initially for six months, extendable based on office requirement and candidate performance. The contract can be terminated at any time if performance is not found satisfactory.
