About the "Sakhi" One Stop Center – Narayanpur

The "Sakhi" One Stop Center (also known as the Women Helpline Center or Sahmat Griha) is a comprehensive facility under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, designed to provide integrated support to women facing domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence. In Narayanpur district, the center operates under the administrative control of the District Women & Child Development Department and provides 24/7 helpline services (181 Women Helpline), medical aid, police facilitation, legal counseling, psychological support, and temporary shelter (up to 5 days). The Multi-Purpose Staff and Security Guard are essential to the day-to-day functioning and safety of the center.

How to Apply

1. Step 1: Download the notification from https://narayanpur.gov.in or collect from the WCD Office, Narayanpur.
2. Step 2: Attend the Walk-in Interview on 23 August 2026 at the Office of Women & Child Development Department, Narayanpur.
3. Step 3: Report at 9:00 AM sharp. Candidates arriving after 4:00 PM will not be entertained.
4. Step 4: Bring all original documents along with self-attested photocopies:
   • 8th / Matriculation Mark Sheet and Certificate
   • Experience certificates (if applicable)
   • Retirement certificate / service record (for ex-military personnel)
   • Domicile / Residence Certificate of Chhattisgarh
   • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
   • Aadhaar Card / Voter ID
   • Two recent passport-size photographs

Selection Process

Language Requirement: Candidates must be proficient in at least one local language – Chhattisgarhi, Gondi, or Halbi. This is mandatory for interacting with women beneficiaries and children at the center.

Terms and Conditions

• Engagement is purely contractual and temporary for 11 months under Sakhi OSC.
• No claim for regular appointment or permanency.
• Security Guard must be available for 24-hour shifts including night duty.
• MPS must be available for cooking and housekeeping duties during all working hours.
• Services can be terminated at any time without reason.
• Must carry all original documents for verification on walk-in day.
• False information leads to immediate disqualification.
• No TA/DA for appearing in the walk-in interview.
• The decision of the Selection Committee is final and binding.
