Project Title

“Characterizing Populations of Homalomena aromatica, Gaultheria fragrantissima in North-Eastern India into Elite Chemotypes and Developing Gene Markers for Essential Oil Content and Major Constituent”

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess a First Class:

• M.Sc.; or

• M.Tech.

in Botany, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related discipline from a UGC-recognised university.

Desirable Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Biochemical analysis of medicinal plants

• Plant tissue culture

Fellowship

The fellowship will be provided according to the rules of the funding agency.
