Maharishi Valmiki Hospital - Junior Resident (MBBS) Walk-in Interview 2026
Maharishi Valmiki Hospital, Pooth Khurd, Delhi (Govt. of NCT of Delhi) will hold a walk-in interview on 17.11.2026 to fill 02 vacancies of Junior Resident (MBBS), purely on ad-hoc basis for a period of 89 days or till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. Candidates must report at 10:00 AM; no candidate will be entertained after 11:30 AM. The interview will be conducted after 11:00 AM.

Important Conditions
- The number of vacancies may vary, and may vary as on the date of publication of the result.
- For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer, belonging to Delhi only) and EWS categories, the certificate must be valid and issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
- If suitable candidates of the reserved category are not available, the reserved seat(s) will be filled by General/other category candidates on ad-hoc basis.
- The application form is attached with the notice; no form will be provided at the time of the walk-in interview. The document checklist is also annexed.
- Hostel accommodation is compulsory for Junior Residents.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Services of ad-hoc Junior Residents are likely to be terminated on joining of Medical Officers and regular Junior Residents through Govt. of NCT of Delhi, even if the 89-day tenure is not complete.
Relaxation if candidates are not available
As per circular No. F.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.2011 of the Department of H&FW, GNCT of Delhi: (i) the upper age limit under relaxation will be 40 years instead of 30 years; (ii) Post Graduate doctors interested in serving as Junior Residents will be allowed to join if fresh graduates are not available; (iii) Junior Residents who have completed one year of Junior Residency may be allowed to appear again and will be offered residency only if no fresh Junior Residents are available, with no extension beyond one year; (iv) the list of fresh candidates will be exhausted first.
