The District Employment Office (जिला नियोजनालय), Munger, under the Youth, Employment & Skills Development Department, Government of Bihar, has published Advertisement No. 04/2026 inviting applications for the post of Attender (आतेंदर) in the Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge (प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश), Munger. In the light of letter No. 3895/2026 dated 02.05.2026 and letter No. 7586 dated 25.08.2026 of the Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, applications are invited at the District Employment Office, Munger for the selection of Attender posts for the establishment of the District & Sessions Judge, Munger. The number of posts has been increased from 10 posts to 31 posts. The engagement is purely temporary and on a non-contractual basis and will be made for a period of one year. The selected persons will be paid according to the Minimum Wages standard.

The District Employment Office, Munger will forward a prescribed number of eligible applications to the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Munger against the total 31 posts, and that office will conduct the interview of the eligible applicants and thereafter select candidates for the posts.

Educational Qualification

The essential qualification for the Attender post is a pass in Class 10 / Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board/institution. Candidates must possess the required educational qualification as on the date of application.

Age Limit

The age limit for the candidates is as follows (calculated as per the advertisement):

• Minimum age: 18 years as on 04.08.2026 (candidates must not have a date of birth after 04.08.2008)
• General / Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 37 years (date of birth not before 04.05.1989)
• EWS (Female): 40 years (date of birth not before 04.05.1986)
• Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male & Female): 40 years (date of birth not before 04.05.1986)
• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male & Female): 42 years (date of birth not before 04.05.1984)

Reservation benefits will be extended to candidates of various categories as per the rules of the Government of Bihar. The benefit of reservation is available only to bona fide residents of the State of Bihar.

Selection Process

The District Employment Office, Munger will select the eligible candidates based on the priority of registration in the National Career Service (NCS) portal / District Employment Office registration. If the registration priority is common, then age priority will be given.
