- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and first class or equivalent at Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching, research or industry, of which at least 3 years at a post equivalent to Associate Professor.
- At least 6 research publications at the Associate Professor level in SCI, UGC or AICTE approved journals, and at least 2 Ph.D.s guided as supervisor or co-supervisor; OR at least 10 research publications at that level.
- Specialisations: renewable energy sources, power electronics and control, electrical machine design, power systems dynamics and control, control systems.
