Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Indian nationals; upper age limit 35 years - the notification reckons the cut-off for age and eligibility as on the closing date of the vacancy notice
- Assistant Manager (Electrical) candidates must be working in Electrical Engineering, specifically in Overhead Equipment (OHE)/power supply installations, in Indian Railways, Railway PSUs, RRTS or Metro Rail organisations, on a regular or contractual basis
- Assistant Manager (S&T) candidates must be working in Signal & Telecommunication Engineering, specifically in signalling and/or telecommunications, in the same organisations
- Grade and experience for both posts: holding a post in CDA Level-8 or IDA E-2 (Rs.50,000-1,60,000) or above with at least 4 years cumulative service in CDA Level-7/IDA E-1 or above; OR holding a post in CDA Level-7 or IDA E-1 (Rs.40,000-1,40,000) with at least 2 years of service in that grade and at least 6 years cumulative service in CDA Level-6/IDA E-0 or above
- Applicants already working in Indian Railways/PSUs on a regular basis must send a copy of the application through their administrative officer with NOC, vigilance/DAR clearance and APAR gradings (Annexure-E)
- Selection: preliminary screening of applications, document verification and personal interview; the interview may be taken in Hindi or English and the qualifying mark is 60%
- If a large number of eligible applications is received, only candidates equal to five times the notified vacancies will be called for document verification and interview, based on engineering marks and experience
- Work experience on the Mumbai Suburban system and a post-graduate degree in the relevant engineering field carry additional weightage
- Selected candidates will be on probation for one year and must execute a service agreement bond to serve MRVC for at least five years after training/probation
- Posting is likely anywhere in MRVC's area of operation; appointment is subject to medical fitness in the pre-employment medical examination
