MPSC Mizoram Soil Conservation Ranger Recruitment 2026 – 5 Posts | Advt No. 21 of 2026-27 (Apply by 31.08.2026)

Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC), Aizawl invites online applications for the Direct Recruitment Examination for the post of Soil Conservation Ranger in the Land Resources, Soil & Water Conservation Department, Government of Mizoram, vide Advertisement No. 21 of 2026-27 dated 28.07.2026.

Post Details

S.C. Ranger is the head of the lowest departmental establishment at the field level — identifying priority areas for works/schemes, liaising with farmers, collecting field information, preparing consolidated reports for scheme implementation, and reporting progress to DSCO. He is the reporting authority of ACRs for all field staff under him.

Eligibility Conditions

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Forestry / Agriculture / Agriculture Engineering / Horticulture / Science from a recognized University.
• Note: Selected candidate shall successfully complete Forest Ranger Training from a recognized Institution within the probation period.
• Age (as on 01.08.2026): Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for ST/SC candidates.
• Computer Proficiency: As prescribed by Mizoram Group 'A', 'B' & 'C' posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
• Mizo Language Proficiency: Pass mark in qualifying test required (exempted for those who studied Mizo in Class-X or opted Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram).

Application Fee

Fee payment through UPI / online as prescribed by MPSC; fee once paid is non-refundable. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of application fees.

• Applicants must register on the one-time-registration portal and submit their application well in advance.

How to Apply

1. Visit the MPSC online portal mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in.
2. Register on the one-time-registration (OTR) portal if not already registered.
3. Fill the application, make payment and upload mandatory documents (marksheets & certificates HSLC and above, computer proficiency proof, Mizo language proof, SC/ST certificate if applicable, proof of date of birth).
4. Verify that the application is actually submitted after payment. Last date for submission: 31.08.2026 upto 4:00 PM.
