RE-NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Professor at Government College of Agriculture, Muktainagar, Dist. Jalgaon, purely on Temporary and Contractual Basis for day-to-day academic work on a fix pay of Rs. 45,000/- or Rs. 25,000/- per month for a maximum of eleven months from the date of appointment.

POSTS:
1. Assistant Professor of Soil Science - 01 post
2. Assistant Professor of Animal Husbandry & Dairy Science (AHDS) - 01 post

Fix Pay: Rs. 45,000/- per month (with Ph.D./NET) OR Rs. 25,000/- per month (M.Sc. without NET)
Duration: Maximum 11 months (or till the post is filled on regular establishment, whichever is less).

NATURE OF WORK (for appointed staff on contractual basis):
1. To conduct the theory and practical classes of concerned allotted courses.
2. To carry out the academic programme as directed by the University.
3. To work as a counsellor.
4. To work for examination / admission / cultural and sport cell.
5. To perform any other college duty as assigned by the Associate Dean.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Master degree without NET candidates can also apply for the above posts, subject to deduction in remuneration as per University guidelines, i.e. Rs. 25,000/- per month on contractual basis.
2. Candidates who have already applied in response to the advertisement mentioned in Reference No. 3 (dated 16/07/2026) need not apply again. Their earlier applications will be considered for the same.
3. The short note / short communication in case of publications will not be considered.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. The appointment will be purely temporary on contractual basis for maximum 11 months only or till the post is filled on regular establishment, whichever is less.
2. The candidate has to submit the undertaking on Rs. 100/- bond paper for accepting all the terms and conditions prescribed.
3. The appointment shall automatically terminate any time on the joining of the person on regular establishment.
4. Any type of act or indiscipline behaviour will be viewed seriously and assignment will be terminated without any intimation to the candidate.
5. The candidate should apply on plain paper giving full details as per enclosed proforma to "The Associate Dean, Government College of Agriculture, Muktainagar - 425 306, Dist. Jalgaon" on or before 03.09.2026 with all required documents and payment deposit receipt of Rs. 500/-, or by hand in office hours.
6. Candidates should pay processing fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) in the account of "Comptroller, MPKV, Rahuri" through online mode: Account No. 35329017015 (State Bank of India, Muktainagar Branch), IFSC Code: SBIN0007776. Receipt of the same should be attached to the application form.
7. The eligible candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee approved by the University. The candidate shall have to attend interview at their own cost. The candidate should produce all original documents at the time of interview, failing which candidature will be rejected.
8. The selected candidate must work full time and full term. He/She will not be allowed to accept any other appointment during the contract period. He/She can only resign the post by giving one month prior notice or by making payment of one month's fixed pay.
9. This contract comes to an end functionally after completion of tenure period and if the candidate has not continued for next semester, he/she should complete his/her work on his/her own cost and no remuneration will be paid.
10. The appointment of the selected candidate will be a tenure appointment and liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason, and the candidate shall not have any right to claim permanency benefit in lieu of this contractual appointment.
