Mahatma Gandhi Government College (MGGC), Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands invites eligible candidates to attend a Walk-in Interview for engagement as Guest Faculty for the following subjects/departments on a purely temporary / lecture-basis arrangement.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: As prescribed by the UGC for the post of Assistant Professor in the relevant subject (Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline, as applicable from time to time).
Remuneration
- Rs. 1,500/- per lecture (subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month), as per Government of India / A&N Administration rules for Guest Faculty engagement.
How to Apply (Walk-in)
- Candidates should report at the office of the Principal, MGGC Sri Vijaya Puram on 04.09.2026 at 10:00 AM along with the original and self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, marksheets, Aadhaar / ID proof, and a recent passport-size photograph.
- Candidates must fill the application / bio-data form available at the venue (or downloaded from the College / A&N Administration website).
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in Interview.
Terms & Conditions
- Engagement is purely temporary on lecture basis and does not confer any right to regular appointment.
- Remuneration is restricted to the number of lectures actually delivered, subject to the prescribed monthly ceiling.
- Selected candidates may be assigned classes as per the College timetable and academic requirements.
- The decision of the College Administration / Principal shall be final in all matters relating to the engagement.
