Educational Qualification (per UGC Regulations 2018)
- Professor: PhD in concerned/allied discipline, min 10 research publications, Research Score 120, min 10 years teaching/research experience (UGC 2018 Appendix II Table 2).
- Associate Professor: PhD + Master's 55% + min 8 years teaching/research with min 7 publications and Research Score 75.
- Assistant Professor: Master's 55% + NET (UGC/CSIR)/SLET/SET, OR PhD per UGC 2009/2016 (exempt).
- Relaxations: 5% (55→50%) at Master's for SC/ST/PwD; 5% for PhD holders with Master's before 19.09.1991.
Selection Process
Interview; shortlisting by academic score (Appendix II Tables 3A/3B); selection on interview performance only. Outstation SC/ST candidates called get 2nd sleeper-class rail/bus fare Wardha-and-back.
