Ministry of External Affairs (Administration Division) — Advertisement No. Q/PF/575/35/2022 dated 03.11.2026: invites applications for engagement of 01 Consultant (Legal) in Diaspora Engagement (DE) Division, initially 1 year (extendable based on performance/mutual agreement/requirement; terminated on 1 month notice or 1 month pay).
Duties: Handling of court cases in which Ministry/DE Division is party; seeking legal opinion in marital disputes/child abduction/Indian students abroad; seeking legal opinion on bills including NRI Marriage Bill.
Essential: Indian national; Graduate degree in law + experience of practice in Sessions Court for 5 years / High Court for 3 years / Supreme Court for 2 years; age 27–40 years on closing date. Desirable: domain knowledge of IPC/BNS laws.
Remuneration: commensurate with experience, max Rs. 83,300/- p.m. (TDS applicable); no HRA/PF/pension/gratuity/medical. 0900–1730 (may change); 1.5 days leave per month; leave up to 10 days at a time; no other leave/encashment.
