MCGM - Contract Medical Consultants at Hindu Hospital Group (Shivdi)

• Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (MCGM), Public Health Department, invites applications for 3 posts on contract basis (Specialty Medical Consultants / Intensivist) at Hindu Hospital Group, Shivdi-15.
• Notice No. HO/5827/S(WA), dated 18.09.2026.
• Contract period: from date of appointment to 31.03.2027 (a one-day technical break every 179 days on contract).
• Application period: 24.09.2026 to 06.10.2026 (office hours). Application fee Rs.870 + 18% GST (non-refundable).

Eligibility (post-wise)

• Specialty Medical Consultant (SMC) - Pediatrician: M.D./DNB (PG Degree) or PG Diploma in the relevant subject (Pediatrics); MMVC registration mandatory; minimum 12 months experience in the specialty department for PG-Diploma holders.
• Specialty Medical Consultant (SMC) - Anesthesia: M.D./DNB (PG Degree) or PG Diploma in the relevant subject (Anesthesia); MMVC registration mandatory.
• Intensivist: M.D./DNB (PG Degree) or PG Diploma in General Medicine, and in Respiratory Medicine (Chest & TB)/Anesthesia/Critical Care/Emergency Medicine. MD/DNB in General Medicine preferred. PG-Diploma holders need at least 12 months experience in the intensive-care department.

Additional Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to handle the HMIS system implemented by MCGM.
• Experience of working in a hospital is preferred.
• Ability to converse and hear fluently in Marathi, Hindi and English.
• Candidates must have MMVC (Maharashtra Medical Council) registration, with valid renewal; PG Degree/Diploma and its registration/renewal are mandatory.
• Basic computer knowledge required; MS-CIT (or equivalent) certificate must be produced if required.

Selection & How to Apply

• Merit list based on the prescribed academic qualifications and interview marks; selection list prepared from the merit list.
• Walk-in interview; interview place/date/time will be communicated by email to the address given in the application two days in advance.
• Obtain a challan from the Hindu Hospital Group (Shivdi) office and pay Rs.870 + 18% GST in cash at the Citizen Facilitation Centre (CFC), F-South Ward, Parel; attach the payment receipt with the application.
• Attach self-attested copies of: degree/PG degree and other academic certificates and marksheets; valid MMVC registration, additional qualification and renewal certificates; experience certificates; Aadhaar and PAN copies; photograph.
