Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Eligibility Criteria 2026
- MBBS from a recognised university and permanent registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council
- Working knowledge of Marathi is expected; experienced candidates will be given preference
- Candidates whose names appear in the blacklist will not be considered
- Candidates must bring a recent passport-size photograph, application/bio-data, and self-attested copies of educational qualification, experience, testimonials and other certificates issued by the competent authority
- Candidates arriving after the registration time will not be allowed to appear for the interview
- Selected candidates will not be treated as regular employees of MCGM and will have no right to absorption as regular staff
- Selected candidates must deposit a demand draft of Rs.10,000 in the name of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (or remit the amount by challan) as security deposit at the time of counselling; the deposit is refundable only after completion of the full tenure
- Biometric attendance is compulsory; candidates may be posted in any ward of the hospital during the tenure
- No travel allowance or daily allowance is payable for attending the interview
